A Peek Into Pratyush Chaubey’s Childhood

As the episode continues with a visit to yet another food spot, curiosity about Pratyush Chaubey’s childhood sparks a candid response. “Same, super awkward and introvert,” he says without hesitation. He recalls being the kind of child who would only open up if someone else initiated a conversation; otherwise, he’d stay quiet and awkward throughout. Pratyush fondly remembers how painfully shy he was—so much so that he couldn’t even ask for a second helping of food. It’s a memory his father still laughs about.

Pratyush shares that he is the youngest of four brothers, all of whom are quite similar—introverted and reserved by nature. Reflecting on what it was like growing up in a house full of boys, he describes it as “alag hi maahol hai” (a vibe of its own). Now that all his brothers are married with kids, he shares a light-hearted anecdote: whenever their wives leave the room, the brothers immediately start teasing each other for acting so differently around their spouses.

The contrast between their public and private personas becomes a source of constant amusement. Despite his introverted nature, Pratyush is still known for his playful and spirited side, especially when compared to her brothers. His “chulbula” (cheerful) demeanour shines through, making one wonder just how introverted his brothers must be!
