Curated by the notable author and poet Arundhathi Subramaniam, a festival titled Goddess will be held at the National Centre for the Performing Arts or NCPA. The festival is a celebration of the eponymic concept, the divine feminine. It will also bring together different art forms, from music and dance to literature. Speaking about the event, she said that she wanted to curate this event after she experienced a shift within her after visiting a Goddess’s shrine in Coimbatore.

The MLA of Vandre West recently shared a post on X (formerly known as Twitter), stating that the improvement work on the Mother Teresa Ground has officially commenced. The post stated that as part of the revamping, a new stormwater drainage system will be installed on the ground. The Bhoomipujan for the same was also done during the inauguration ceremony.

3. Bus Routes Curtailed Due To Work On Road
Due to the commencement of cement concretization work on Nanabhai Moos Road from https://t.co/xtDPehzxCc to Afgan Church w.e.f. 31.10.2023, the operation of Routes – 103,A-106 & A-123 have been curtailed from R.C. Church to Afghan Church.

According to a post made on X by the official account of BEST buses, the routes for bus number 103, A-106 and A-123 have been curtailed. The work is happening on Nanabhai Moos Road. Since these buses ply on the R C Church to Afghan Church route, their operations have been curtailed. This came into effect from October 31, 2023.
4. Air India Launches Direct Flight To Australia

On October 31, Air India announced that it would be launching direct flights to Melbourne in Australia from the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport or the CSMIA in Mumbai. It will also launch a direct flight between Sydney and Delhi. The flight route will commence on December 15, 2023. What is more, by launching a non-stop flight, Air India has become the first and, for now, the only airline in the country to offer a direct route to Australia. Since there is a community of more than 200,000 Indians in Australia, this new route is expected to meet the rising demand for such flights.
5. Kamal Haasan’s Daughter Purchases An Apt Worth ₹15.75 Crores In Khar

Akshara Haasan actor and daughter of Kamal Haasan recently purchased an apartment in the neighbourhood of Khar in Mumbai. The apartment is worth a whopping ₹15.75 crores and sprawls across 2,354 square feet. It is located on the 13th floor of Ekta Vervey Tower which has a total of 15 floors.
