2020, was a year of work from home, late-night sleep, Netflix and chill, whipping up restaurant-style dishes, spending time with family, walking around in pyjamas, attending virtual events and of course cancelling all travel plans. This year changed the way we worked, ate, slept and just lived our lives. It just made us forget everything and truly focus on what matters, health and family. So with our lipsticks tucked aside thanks to the face masks, perfumes in our shelves as we rarely go out, here are 7 things that were totally useless in 2020.

It’s a matter of pride to see our passports bruised with stamps from all our adventurous trips from across the world. And this year, while we’ve been spending a lot of quality time at home, so has our precious passports. With our passports tucked away in dusty drawers, the only trips we’ve been getting, are those to the grocery stores. And they are nothing less than adventurous. 2. Sunglasses
Most doctors would agree, the coronavirus induced lockdown has left many of us craving for Vitamin D. While we’re nestled in the cocoons of our cosy beds and ploppy sofas, the golden question is, where’s the sunlight? The picturesque sunrise and sunset views from the mountain cliffs and beaches have been replaced with a groggy glance at the usual view from outside our window. Our kala chashma, is back in its box, waiting to see the light of day. And we’ve sought refuge in regular glasses as we protect our eyes from the laptop screen thanks to our neverending work from home schedules.
