The calmest and the most fearsome Lord Shiva is one of the most worshipped deities in Hinduism. Lord Shiva is known for his benevolent nature. He is often referred to as ‘Bhole’ and is shown with a snake around his neck, wearing tiger skin, adorning a crescent moon, and the holy River Ganga flowing from his matted hair. In India, Mahashivratri is celebrated in honour of this Hindu God. And people fast for the whole day and visit his temples to seek blessings. Raveena Tandon celebrated this auspicious day by visiting the famous Kashi Vishwanath temple and Ganga Ghat. She posted pictures on Instagram of her enjoying the evening boat ride, Ganga Aarti, and the beautiful ghats of the River Ganga.
