Gauri Khan, the first lady of Bollywood and the OG Fabulous Bollywood Wive, sat down with Kamiya Jani from Curly Tales and talked about food, travel and everything in between!
Gauri, who is originally from Delhi, has finally settled the debate about which city – Delhi or Mumbai – has the best street food! Wanna know what? We’ll tell you!
But before that, we were pleasantly surprised to hear that Gauri is a glocal foodie. What do we mean? Well, she eats local cuisine and regional favourites whenever she travels, wherever she travels. In Mumbai she savours piping hot Vada Pavs, in Delhi she loves the Bhel Puri, in Kolkata she gorges on Phuchka, in Goa she likes the Prawn Curry.
She quips, “Whenever I travel, I love to eat the local cuisine”.
Speaking about her Delhi memories, Gauri Khan recalls she loved the Bengali market in Delhi for chaat and remembers it fondly!
When asked to pick her favourite travel destination, Gauri excitedly names Paris, and London, but also adds how she loves travelling across India as well! And, that’s not all, we even got a peek into what Gauri loves when it comes to travel and what kind of a traveller she is.
