Although India can now be touted as a developed nation, there are many who still struggle for three meals a day. Delhi-based Jan Rasoi, is resolving this problem for some residents by offering an executive meal for people of all categories. Former cricketer and current MP Gautam Gambhir will inaugurate the fourth ‘Jan Rasoi’ in his constituency that will provide subsidised meals to all at just ₹1.

Jan Rasoi Provides Full Plate Of Meal At ₹1

Jan Rasoi at three different locations had already been providing a full plate of a meal at just ₹1. This new food outlet at Shakarpur is carved out of a concrete structure that earlier served as a garbage collection unit. The replacement of the garbage storage unit will not only relieve people living nearby of the foul smell of garbage but also provide them with three meals a day. About 3000 People Reslish Meals In Jan Rasoi Outlets Everyday

Jan Rasois established in Gandhi Nagar, Ashok Nagar and Vinod Nagar had received an overwhelming response where over 3,000 people relish meals every day at ₹1. Most of the visitors are of the lesser privileged section of the society who were badly affected by the lockdown and the restrictions. With the kitchen, Gautam Gambhir hopes to bring some relief to the most deprived sections of society.
