Oman’s Nizwa city is all set to welcome the 3rd edition of the Himam Trail Run Race. This biannual event takes place on the terrain offered by the Al Hajar mountains. The 2022 edition is expecting hundreds of running enthusiasts present on the race track between 1-3rd December. Himam adventures in cooperation with Oman Athletic Association launch this event every year.

The Himam Trail Run Race is a biannual event which started in 2021. The upcoming edition of 2022 is 3rd. The last two events occurred in Feb 2021 and December 2021 respectively. Runners from 35 nations came to Oman to participate in this event last year. This year the expected number of participants is around 570 runners from 41 countries. The number of countries participating is expected to increase with every edition. The route takes the runners from Al Hamra, Jabal Akhdar and goes to Birkat Al Mouz, Nizwa.
