After Filter Kappi Soft Serve, THIS Australian Eatery Has Launched A Besan Laddoo Variant!

It’s no exaggeration to say that besan laddoos are every Indian’s favourite—one can never get enough of them. But have you ever imagined their flavour as a soft serve? A vegetarian Indian restaurant in Australia has now introduced a besan laddoo soft serve, and this unique twist has left netizens pleasantly surprised. Scroll down to know more!

Besan Laddoos As Soft Serve In Australia

Now, even traditional favourites are getting a modern twist, and besan laddoo is no exception. A vegetarian Indian restaurant in Australia, Flyover, has introduced a besan laddoo soft serve recently, and foodies are loving it. The restaurant, which specialises in Indian cuisine, wanted Australians to experience the authentic flavours of India, and this is their latest venture.

During Diwali, the owner had some leftover besan ka sheera and thought, why not turn it into a soft-serve dessert? After all, she was one of the pioneers of the filter kappi soft serve trend on social media, and food lovers were excited to try her latest creation.

In all honesty, the result looked absolutely delicious. The smooth, creamy soft serve looked too good to ignore. In the video, the owner enjoyed it in a small kaapi glass. To add crunch and extra flavour, it was topped with nuts and pistachios. Its golden colour and familiar nutty aroma make it instantly recognisable. The soft perfectly blends the comforting taste of traditional laddoos with a playful, modern twist, making it hard to resist.

Dishes To Not Miss Out On

If you’re visiting this restaurant in Australia, there’s plenty on the menu to try beyond the besan laddoo soft serve. Start with Corn Bhel Puri for a crunchy, tangy snack or Tandoori Paneer Momo for a spicy, creamy twist. Don’t miss the Aloo Tikki or Seasonal Greens Chaat for classic Indian flavours with a modern touch. Coming to the mains, the Cauliflower Ghee Roast and Coconut Lime Daal Khichri are must-tries. End on a sweet note with Sea Salt Besan Laddoo or Rose Cardamom Kheer.

This restaurant also offers a wide range of drinks to pair with your meal. Their chai cocktails are quite unique. From creamy Chairish Cream, the coffee-inspired Kaapi Martini, and the spiced Naughty Chai–desi flavours rule the menu here. For a refreshing twist, try spiced cocktails like the Bombay Sour or Chilli Ginger Gimlet. Wine lovers can enjoy whites, reds, rosés, and orange wines, while beer fans have options like Grifter Pale Ale and Lager. Non-alcoholic drinks include tamarind soda, thandaai, passionfruit lassi, traditional chai, Indian filter coffee, and a healthy turmeric tonic.
