Swiss International Air Lines Launches Bengaluru-Zurich Direct Flights
Swiss International Air Lines already flies to two Indian cities, Delhi and Mumbai. Now, the airline is expanding its network with Bengaluru as its third destination in the country. By launching direct flights between Bengaluru and Zurich, the airline is also marking its first-ever route to southern India.
The airline has introduced this new route to meet the rising demand from business travellers, tech professionals, luxury tourists, and NRIs travelling between Europe and India. Bookings for the new route will open from May 19 through the airline’s official website and travel agency partners.

What Is The Schedule Of The New Flight?
The flights will operate five times a week from October 25, 2026, to March 27, 2027. Flight LX140 will depart from Zurich at 1:20 PM and arrive in Bengaluru at 2:55 AM the following day. The return service, LX141, will leave Bengaluru at 4:50 AM and land in Zurich at 10:50 PM on the same day.
Along with the new Bengaluru route, Swiss International Air Lines also shared some exciting updates for international travellers. The airline said its new Airbus A350 aircraft will soon fly to more global destinations, including Johannesburg and Shanghai. Earlier, these planes were added to Boston and Seoul routes. By the end of the year, SWISS plans to have five Airbus A350 aircraft, all featuring the airline’s brand-new “SWISS Senses” cabin design across every class for a more comfortable flying experience.
