Mangaluru International Airport Adds More Flights

To meet the growing travel demand during peak winter season, Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) is bringing new changes. The airport is adding more routes and increasing flight frequency to key destinations across India and the Middle East. The winter schedule will run from this Sunday and will continue until March 2026, reported The Times of India.
Air India Express is adding a second daily flight to New Delhi. The flight will leave Mangaluru at 12:30 pm and reach New Delhi at 3:25 pm. The return flight will depart New Delhi at 4:15 pm and arrive in Mangaluru by 7:10 pm. For the first time, AIE will also start three weekly direct flights to Thiruvananthapuram, starting Monday, October 27.
IndiGo is also expanding its domestic routes from Mangaluru. The airline will now operate six daily flights to Bengaluru, three to Mumbai, two to Hyderabad, and one each to Delhi and Chennai.
International Flights From MIA
According to The Times of India, Air India Express will run two daily flights to Dubai six days a week, plus one extra flight on Tuesdays. The airline will also operate one daily flight to Abu Dhabi, five weekly flights to Dammam, and three weekly flights to Bahrain, Doha, Jeddah, and Kuwait.
IndiGo has also increased its international flight frequency from Mangaluru International Airport. It now operates weekly flights to Dammam and Doha, increasing the total to five and three flights respectively. The airline has added two extra weekly flights each to Bahrain, Kuwait, and Jeddah, in addition to the single weekly flight it already operated. IndiGo will also operate one daily flight to Abu Dhabi and four weekly flights to Dubai using its Airbus fleet.
