Gold Door For Ram Mandir Sanctum Sanctorum. Final Stage Of The Ground Floor Is Ongoing

Devotees are eagerly waiting for the complete construction of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. It is expected that the ground floor of this temple will be completely developed by October 2023, according to several sources. At the present moment, the construction of the ground floor is undergoing in full swing and it is in the final phase. To add more grandeur to this devotional temple, gold will be used to adorn the door of its sanctum sanctorum.

Here Are Some Details About The Construction Progress On The Ground Floor Of Ram Mandir:

Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra took to its Twitter account @ShriRamTeerth to share some glimpses of the progress of the temple.

  • The final stage of the ground floor is an integral part of the Ayodhya temple.
  • The sanctum sanctorum door will be beautified with gold elements.
  • The entire process is being reviewed by the authorities involved with the temple.
  • According to a report by News 18, Nripendra Mishra (the Chairman of the Construction Committee) reviewed the ongoing work there.
  • Several members of the Ram Janambhoomi Trust and the Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust also reviewed the final phase of the ground floor construction.
  • Some officials have shared how they are keenly observing the advancement and development inside the Ram Mandir.
  • The ground floor of the 3-storey temple will get 160 columns.

The first floor of Ram Mandir will get 132 columns and the second floor will house 74 columns. Also, there will be 5 mandaps (pavilions) inside the Ayodhya temple. The names of these mandaps are:

  • Gudh Mandap
  • Kirtan Mandap
  • Nritya Mandap
  • Prathana Mandap
  • Rang Mandap

Except for the door of the sanctum sanctorum, the other 46 doors will be built using good-quality teak wood.

From When Will The Devotees Be Able To Enter The Temple?

Amit Shah shared in 2022 that the doors to the Ram Mandir will be open by 1 January 2023. The temple is surely going to be a humongous boost to the travel sector of Ayodhya as everyone is very excited to visit this iconic temple and seek blessings from Lord Ram.
