The state government made the grand initiation of allowing all the restaurants in the state to keep their doors open round-the-clock. Dushyant Chautala, the Deputy Chief Minister, announced this new beginning recently. With the official announcement, eateries can stay open 24X7.
Dushyant Chautala Stated That There Will Not Be Any Limitation To Shut Down Restaurants At Night Across The State
After Dushyant Chautala announced the new rule on Tuesday, the government of Haryana began allowing all the eateries across the state to run all round-the-clock. Owners who are interested to operate their establishments and serve food all the time, they can do so without any restrictions. People of Haryana can now get to enjoy their favourite food items from their favourite establishments at any time of the day at their convenience. The Deputy CM added that these eateries and restaurants do not have any restriction now to shut the doors in the nighttime.
Also, the Deputy Chief Minister chaired a meeting to work on this decision. Different departments were present in this meeting as well.

A very important point to note here is that the state government is allowing these eateries to run all around the day only to sell food. This rule is in no way applicable to selling alcohol, according to a report by Indian Express. With this, Haryana is now the first and the only North Indian state that allows its restaurants to do business at night as well.
There Are Some Rules To Follow!
During the announcement of allowing restaurants to operate all the time, Dushyant Chautala talked about some specific rules to follow. Owners who are willing to do business 24X7 will need to simply register with the Labour Department. Along with this registration process, there are also some important rules, terms, and conditions to follow. These terms and conditions are of Section 9 and Section 10 of the Punjab Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, 1958.
