Hauz Khas is known for its narrow lanes having number of hangout joints but did you know that there’s a not-so hidden chole bhature shop in the main market area here that’s extremely famous for its garma-garam chole bhature?

We’ve found a place called ‘Pandit Ji Ke Mashoor Chole Bhature’ in South Delhi where you can head to this weekend to have a hot plate of chole bhature. As the name suggests, it’s quite a popular shop in the area. They have been serving these chole bhature for more than a decade now. The one reason that people go back to this shop again and again is that their bhatura has paneer stuffing in it which makes it even more tasty with their spicy chole.
Worth The Money!
A plate here will set you back by just ₹50, so it’s affordable too. In a plate, they serve two paneer-stuffed fluffy bhaturas paired with chole and served with salad and pickles making it the most satisfying breakfast or brunch option. Prepared with an undertone of tanginess, the chole served here has a unique taste which is a little different from the rest.
Usually, the chole bhature shops in the city are done by afternoon but Pandit ji’s shop stays open till 10PM every day. Even then, you will most probably find a long queue lined outside the shop whenever you go there. There is no seating available so you can either stand near the tables to have this desi dish or get it home delivered.

Although this is a dedicated chole bhature shop, at least as the name suggests, but they have samosas too which is also something worth trying here.
