Coffee is not just a beverage, it’s an emotion. We swear by it early in the morning when we need to kick-start the day, and late at night when we’re looking for a little inspiration. Coffee just keeps us all going! But to all coffee lovers, have you tried some of these unique coffees in Delhi yet? Let’s check it out!

1. Cinnamon Cold Brew

The Grammar Room in Mehrauli is such a stunning restaurant doing our favourite food and beverage groups  —  breakfasts and cocktails  —  so very right. Go here on a breezy evening and sit outside or get here early for breakfast. One more thing that is perfect here are their cold brews. When you’re here, try Koinonia’s freshly-brewed Cinnamon Cold Brew. Another one on the list is Macchiato. They have coffee from Marvahulla, Doraikanal, Moganad and Gowri coffee estates in India. You can sip on this coffee also with Blue Tokai (Cold Brew Coffee) and Sleepy Owl (Cinnamon Burst Cold Brew).

2. Coffee Sangria

Perch Wine and Coffee Bar was one of the first few places in the city to introduce a Coffee Sangria to its menu and it’s definitely one of the best places to try unique coffees in Delhi. They have an impressive wine list and an equally impressive menu for coffee. Their sangria is made with red wine, in-house brewed coffee and a couple of juices that make the drink so very perfect. You can pick from Ganguberi, Kalledevarapura, Ethiopia Sidamo, Colombia Supremo, El Salvador Picacho and Mandheling coffee, or go with their house blend. Also, try the Caramel Bean and the Coffee Shrub with Tonic here.

Address: Perch Wine & Coffee Bar, 71, Khan Market, Rabindra Nagar, New Delhi, Delhi 110003

3. Filter Coffee & Cold Kaapi

Well, we are sure that most of us have at least tried this classic one- Filter Coffee. Though filter coffee is something that only a handful of places do well and, more often than not, they’re all South Indian places. And that list includes Carnatic and Sarvana Bhawan. They both have a nice, smokey filter coffee that’s not too milky and not too sweet— just how we like it. You can try Triveni’s too. Also, you can even have Cold Kaapi at Lota that comes with a shot of filter coffee and is iced. This one is for those who like things icy.

Address: Carnatic Cafe, M-21, M Block Market, Greater Kailash (GK) 2, New Delhi

4. Caramel Macchiato

When we talk about best coffee, how could we miss Starbucks! There’s something very comforting about this place where you can simply unwind with your favourite cuppa and some great grub. Their Caramel Macchiato and Java Chip Frappuccino are our utimate favorites. Other than this, a thick, frothy and strong, Sibang’s warm cup of Macchiato is our equally favourite. If you’re someone who likes their coffee slightly sweet (not too overwhelming), their Caramel Macchiato won’t disappoint. You can also have it at The Brew Room and The Coffee Shop.

5. Sea Salt Mocha

Located in Saidul-Ajab, this roastery with a little cafe brews one of the best coffee in the city, which is made from the freshest coffee beans. We’re tired of getting super-sweet mochas and lattes at most cafes, but the Sea Salt Mocha at Blue Tokai is unlike anything you’ll ever try. It’s a comforting cup of chocolaty mocha with just the right amount of salt to undercut the sweetness. Who knew salt in coffee could taste so good! You can have similar tasty sea salt mocha at The Brew Room (Salted Caramel Mocha and White Chocolate Mocha).

Address: Blue Tokai Coffee, Khasra 258, Lane 3, Westend Marg, Saidulajab, New Delhi 110030

6. Espress-O-Spritzer

Espress-o-Ville is perfect for those first coffee dates. One of Espress-o-Ville’s specialities, the Espress-o-Spritzer is a weird (but brilliant) combination of rose, watermelon, espresso and soda. The end result, however, is a refreshing coffee drink that we can drink pitchers of. But we absolutely loved this unique flavored coffee.

Address: Espress-o-Ville, S – 349, Greater Kailash – 2 Shop No. 2, Ground Floor Opposite Chandan Market, New Delhi, Delhi 110048

7. Pumpkin Spice Latte

The Pumpkin Spice Latte is a coffee drink made with a mix of traditional fall spice flavors, steamed milk, espresso, and often sugar, topped with whipped cream, pumpkin pie spice with a small amount of pumpkin puree. Coffee Bond in Uday Park is a tiny, cozy little coffee shop that is serving one of the most unique coffees in Delhi NCR. They have just enough food options on their menu, and the coffee they serve definitely makes us go back for more. But what we love about this place is their trendy Pumpkin Spice Latte here! It’s something that you should right away go and have a sip of. You can also try their Black Forest Tea, Avocado & Orange Salad.

Address: Coffee Bond, Shop No. 4 Local Shopping Complex, Uday Park, New Delhi, Delhi 110049

8. Vietnamese Iced Coffee

Vietnamese Iced Coffee is a traditional Vietnamese coffee recipe, which is made using medium to coarse ground dark roast Vietnamese-grown coffee with a small metal Vietnamese drip filter. In Delhi’s Champa Gali, you can find a creamy, strong Vietnamese Iced coffee and while it’s a little too sweet for our taste, we still keep going back to Jugmug Thela for it. Jugmug Thela is a pop-up tea stall which has a beautiful seating area across the counter and in the backyard as well. We absolutely love their minimalist appeal and it serves one of our favourite unique coffees in Delhi NCR. You can also have this strong and amazing coffee at Bamboo Boat and Rose Cafe.

Address: Jugmug Thela, Shop No. 4 Local Shopping Complex, Uday Park, New Delhi, Delhi 110049

9. Turkish Coffee

The Brew Room is a franchise of a cafe in Chennai that has about eight different styles of live brewed coffee including vacuum syphon, Italian espresso, cold drip, Turkish coffee, Chemex and more. Among these, it’s their Turkish Coffee that has our heart. The Brew Room’s Turkish coffee is as authentic (and good) as it gets. It’s also a very sophisticated blend liked usually by experimental coffee lovers. They also serve some great artisan teas that you should try, like the Long Island Green Tea, Chilli Chai Black Tea and the Marigold Green Tea.

Address: The Brew Room, Ward Number 1, Safdarjung Development Area market, Hauz Khas, New Delhi, Delhi 110016

10.  Bengaluru Iced Brew Frappe

Sardarji Bakhsh Coffee & Co is a relatively newbie into the city’s coffee scene, but a promising one nonetheless. They have a great variety of hot and cold coffee in their menu. They are known to serve some of their best like the Indo-Turkish Retro Coffee, Hazelnut Cappuccino, Nitro Coffee and Espresso Tonic, but our ultimate favourite is their Bengaluru Iced Brew Frappe. Their minimal prices is also a cherry on the cake as now you don’t have to empty your pockets to enjoy a good brew.
