Abu Dhabi Health Dept Declares 40+ New Products As Unsafe Supplements For Weight Loss Or Cosmetics

There are tons of products that we use in our daily lives. These could range from supplements for weight loss to cosmetics, as each of these products tends to promise a healthier way to live life. However, more than 40 products were deemed to be adulterated and unsafe for the UAE. The Abu Dhabi health department has already banned them one after the other since January. Take a look!

40+ Products Deemed Unsafe For Consumption

As revealed in a report by Khaleej Times, since January, the Abu Dhabi health department has listed several products that have been deemed unsafe for the UAE. Yes, this list of products was recently updated on March 27. It includes adulterated and contaminated supplements that are often marketed for weight reduction, bodybuilding, cosmetic, or any other health-related reason. Posing a serious risk to the consumers, they are often stored in unsanitary conditions without following good manufacturing practices. Not to mention, some were even found to be contaminated. There were cases of yeast, bacteria, mold, and even heavy metal.
