Chief Minister, Jai Ram Thakur, during the inauguration of the heliport in Rampur said that the government is taking up various initiatives to improve the connectivity in the state. The heliport, for instance will improve the air connectivity of the state with other major spots. There are three other heliport spots where the constructions has already been done & will be inaugurated soon. The Shimla heliport near Sanjauli bypass road, Baddi in Solan district and Rampur will have helicopter services operating very soon! Also, another heliport is under construction in Manali, HP CM informed.

Heli Taxi Services On Shimla- Rampur-Shimla Starting At ₹3,275
The heli taxi services on the Shimla-Rampur-Shimla route started in December 2021 and one can take on these services for ₹3,275 one-way. And after the Shimla-Rampur route, heli taxi services will be introduced in other areas like Reckong Peo and Chamba. You will soon be able to avail helicopters to these areas too. Recently, the flight services from Delhi-Shimla were also restored. With the resumption, the tourism sector will surely receive more premium travellers with this. There are tons of projects underway in the state. And, the CM had also inaugurated to major projects – a press club & Rampur assembly segment.
