Hogenakkal faced an issue after the waters of the Cauvery rivers overflowed due to the heavy rains. The district administration banned the operations of the coracle ride for almost a month. The admin has directed the tourists and coracle operators to wear life jackets and comply with all the guidelines. With the rides, taking a dip in the Cauvery waters will be possible now, lifting the ban. Hogennakal has tons of things for tourists to do, starting from swimming, trekking, sightseeing and more.
