As per a report by The Hans India, the Religious Endowments Department launched the e-Prasad service some time ago. Recently, the overwhelming response from devotees from other states has led to the e-Prasad service going interstate. Muzrai Department Minister Ramalinga Reddy launched the e-Prasad service a few days ago. Devotees who weren’t able to visit temples in Karnataka found it to be a respite to receive blessings from the divine in the form of prasad at their doorsteps.

This e-Prasad service will be offered to devotees under No Loss, No Profit. Karnataka temples have implemented a system where devotees can order and receive the prasad in the comfort of their homes. Reddy revealed to The Hans India that prasad will be delivered at a nominal price of ₹100 to ₹200. Karnataka temples have received a good response for e-prasad from 5000 devotees.
