A task force team of the Telangana food safety department inspected three restaurants in the Gachibowli area on August 17. From the names of the places to everything they discovered, the Commissioner of Food Safety, Telangana shared all important information on the X platform.

The task force team headed to Hoy Punjab on Saturday and conducted a raid. During the investigation process, the officials discovered that the restaurant staff cooked veg biryani the previous day and stored it. Also, they found overused oil with a greasy appearance. The team discarded both the veg biryani and the oil. They also seized 330 bottles of customised drinking water supplied by Jalousie Industries as the TDS levels (39 ppm) were very low.
Hoy Punjab staff could not provide the medical fitness certificates of food handlers. In addition to all these, there were no water analysis reports for RO water provided to customers. Lastly, the task force team discovered that the storeroom was narrow without proper ventilation.

Telangana Food Safety Department raided The Globe Grub in Gachibowli on the same day. The team members found open dustbins without proper lids and uncovered and unlabelled food articles stored in a refrigerator. There were no temperature records for refrigerators and water analysis reports for RO water. The restaurant did not provide medical fitness certificates for food handlers.

The Telangana Food Safety Department also raided Flechazo in Gachibowli. The task force team found open dustbins without proper lids and some uncovered and unlabelled food articles stored in a refrigerator. No food handlers had proper hair caps and gloves. The officials discarded packaged chicken as it was “stored beyond best before dates.”
There was the FSSAI license copy displayed at the restaurants. Also, pest control records and medical fitness certificates were available with the FBO.
