Oman, the hidden jewel of the gulf is one of the most underrated tourist destinations. And to attract more visitors to this country, the capital city has been doing some arrangements. The municipality has arranged a festive event that is called Muscat Nights. Post the pandemic, this event is being relaunched in 2023 and is set to start on January 19th. Here’s all you need to know about the event.

Muscat Festival Rebranded As Muscat Nights For 2023

After a three-year delay owing to the Coronavirus epidemic, Muscat Municipality has stated that the event will again be known as Muscat Nights will take place from January 19 to February 4 in 2023.  Four places will host the 17-day celebrations: Qurum Gardens, Naseem Park, Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC), and Oman Automobile Association (OAA).

The locations for Muscat Night’s events have been carefully chosen. An innovation in this year’s Muscat Nights is the allocation of entertainment points for international companies to promote their goods, particularly through the use of technology.

This time, a heritage village in Al Naseem Park will feature a bigger portrayal of the provinces. Talented musicians from the Sultanate of Oman will conduct concerts.

What To Expect At This Event?

In all of the venues, game zones and food booths will be Muscat Nights’ primary attractions. Motivating people to attend parks and spend time in nature is one of the key goals of Muscat Nights.

Officials claim these activities go beyond simple entertainment and really serve to benefit local businesses by promoting domestic travel.

New tech will be implemented to order tickets and view the schedule of events via a soon-to-be-released app.

The Muscat Nights intends to grow into the biggest entertainment, cultural, and civic occasion in the nation’s capital. This will definitely attract larger communities around the globe to participate in the event.

The extravagant event aims to achieve a mix between tradition and modernity. It is envisaged that this would meet the needs of many societal groups while also keeping up with the demands of the entertainment industry.
