Kamiya Jani, our editor-in-chief, revealed that she had actually received a call for the show herself once. There was just one rather significant obstacle–cockroaches. She admitted that she cannot even be around them and that seeing one from a distance is enough to give her the jitters.
Jasmin Bhasin’s response was very swift and felt like it came from someone who has literally embodied the KKK’s slogan of “face your fears.” She encouraged Kamiya Jani to do the show precisely because of that fear. Her logic was simple, that if something scares you, put yourself in a situation where you have to face it. Eventually, the fear might lose its grip.
This sounds very inspirational until you remember that Jasmin Bhasin was talking about Khatron Ke Khiladi, where “facing your fears” can apparently mean being suspended somewhere while your nervous system files a complaint.

Jasmin Bhasin On Facing Her Fears
Jasmin Bhasin also teased what is different about the latest season. According to her, the stunts have become wilder than ever. And she was particularly clear about one thing: when she says a stunt was difficult, she genuinely means difficult.
That becomes even more interesting when the conversation turns to the electric-shock stunt shown in the promos. Jasmin Bhasin admitted that electric shocks are something she is extremely scared of. So yes, one of the things she fears most was also waiting for her on the show.
And perhaps that explains why she keeps going back. For Jasmin, courage does not seem to mean walking into a stunt without fear. It means knowing exactly what scares you, feeling that fear anyway and doing the stunt. Three times, apparently.
