Yohan Poonawalla On The World’s Top 100 Car Collectors List
In our upcoming Stories From Bharat, you will get to see Yohan and Michelle Poonawalla. During our meeting in Pune, we spoke about his impressive car collection. What’s surprising is that some of Yohan Poonawalla’s cars have travelled from Japan to the UK. Why? These breathtaking cars have won awards like “Best Car” and “Most Expensive Car.” He believes in showcasing his cars not just in India but globally as well.
We also asked how many cars he owns, and he said around 100. He shared that he grew up surrounded by cars and horses, and that’s where his passion began. He also mentioned that he is the only Indian featured in the top 100 car collectors in the world.
During the tour, he showed us a car used by Queen Elizabeth. He also presented a special Rolls-Royce worth ₹22 crore. His oldest car is a 1927 Rolls-Royce. Yohan further showcased a car that once belonged to the first president of Qatar.

When Did Couple Move In Their Pune Home?
During the interview, the couple also gave us a tour of their home. They revealed that they moved into this house on April 15, 2004. Their property looked amazing; it is equally grand and has a lot of greenery. Michelle shared that she is not someone who likes to cut trees and believes in preserving them.
Both of them together decided on the interiors. Their house has a very palatial feel, but what Kamiya noticed was that it also has a warm and homely vibe. To this, Michelle said that when you choose things on your own, passed down through ancestors, it brings a personal touch to the space.
