In the latest episode of Tere Gully Mein, Lucknow’s viral queen of comedy, Meethika Dwivedi, aka The Sound Blaze, took us around some of the most iconic eateries in the city. While devouring Basket Chaat at Royal Café, we played a game of ‘This or That’ with her, and here’s how it went down.

Meethika Dwivedi Loved Listening To These Singers

Giving her some difficult choices, we played a round of ‘This or That’ with Meethika Dwivedi. We asked her if she prefers 90s Bollywood songs or Gen Z hits, and she replied, “Gen Z toh kaise hi hit de rahe hai, 90s ke hi gaane ache hai kyunki Gen Z main toh koi crazy gaane aa nahi rahe.”

We then asked her if she has a favourite song that she likes to hum or sing, she quickly said that she won’t sing it out loud. Instead she revealed her favourite singer is Arijit Singh, and even compared him to a vegetable. “Arijit sir toh aloo hai ek dum, woh sabko pasand hai! Aloo sabko hi pasand hota hai,” Meethika Dwivedi very cleverly described him.

“Gazal suni hai toh Ghulam Ali and Jagjit Singh; qawwali suni hai toh Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan aur Rahat Fateh Ali Khan. Sukhwinder Singh bade ache lagte hai, especially high pitch wale gaano main. Madhur aawaz suni hai toh Shreya Ghoshal ji – bas yeah hi hai kuch shaandar singers jo mujhe pasanad hai,” she went on to share.

Food Trail Around Lucknow

Besides Royal Café, we also visited other iconic places in Lucknow. At Chowk Galli, we started with some flavourful thandai at Pandit Raja Thandai, then we had pan at the popular Azhar Bhai Ka Paan. Of course, you cannot miss out on the famous Bajpayee Ki Kachori when you’re in Lucknow, so we had to check out that place as well.
