In just a few minutes, the much-awaited IPL final between the Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bangalore is set to begin in Ahmedabad. Last year, RCB also played a final in Ahmedabad, but the situation in Bengaluru turned tense as many people died in a stampede. Now, Bengaluru Police has issued an advisory to warn people against things not to do. If you are in Bengaluru, make sure you go through the list of things to avoid.

Bengaluru Police Issues Advisory Ahead Of RCB Match

Ahead of the IPL 2026 final between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) on May 31, Bengaluru Police has issued a strict public advisory urging citizens to celebrate responsibly and avoid any activities that could lead to chaos on the streets.

According to the advisory, people are advised not to gather in public places immediately after the match results. As per The Economic Times, authorities have also clearly prohibited public celebrations in open areas, including bike rallies. Such activities can cause traffic disruptions and hinder emergency movement across the city.

What Are The Other Things To Avoid?

Apart from saying NO to bike rallies, Bengaluru Police have banned the installation of LED screens facing public roads without prior permission. They have instructed malls, pubs, and others not to organise live screenings in areas that are accessible to the general public.

Bengaluru Police also mentioned to avoid celebrations that may turn risky. Fans are not allowed to burst firecrackers or use any hazardous materials in public spaces. Apart from bike rallies, stunts on roads, overspeeding, and road blockades have also been strictly prohibited. Police have warned that strict action will be taken against anyone who violates these rules.

In addition, authorities have asked people to avoid unnecessary honking and any kind of public nuisance. Moreover, people cannot consume alcohol in public places. Police have also warned against provoking fans of the opposing team or sharing any hateful content on social media.
