Content creator RJ Princy Parikh (@princyparriikh), who has been entertaining audiences with her Gujarati-style accent, hilarious cooking videos, and relatable content, recently visited the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival. She went there mimicking a typical Gujarati mother, and her point of view had everyone laughing.

She first spoke about the name Kala Ghoda, questioning how people can call a horse “black” when it’s already black. She jokingly added that by this logic, if a father is dark-skinned, would he be “kala papa” too?

Princy referred to the Kala Ghoda Arts Festival as an arts festival and quipped, “Gujarati kabhi arts nahi lete.” Spotting an art installation made of bottles, she told her daughter that all the bottles she lost in school were displayed there. On seeing an artwork made of caps, she remarked, “Ye dekh, tera art hai—dhakkan art.”

She then came across a massive carrom board and compared its size to a typical Mumbai house. At another booth that read “On Call with Bapu,” she hilariously attempted to strike up a conversation. During the conversation, she said that she won’t be able to do Dandi March, but will Dandi February work? Seeing a huge green fish artwork, she joked that the fish must be drinking Sprite. Looking at oversized geometry tools, she commented, “Khali ka geometry box.” Finally, while looking at a taxi-inspired art installation, she said people were clicking photos because, in Mumbai, taxis rarely stop anyway.
