A major innovation has emerged from Almora, Uttarakhand, where Ravi Tamta, Founder and CEO of Hapida Sky Private Limited, announced the successful flight of the HAPIDA SKYNeX prototype.

X user GFN (@GFNIND) shared a video showing a man from Uttarakhand successfully testing a flying car. The innovator is Ravi Tamta from Kaflikhan village in Almora, Uttarakhand. He successfully test-flew the HAPIDA SKYNeX, a single-seater flying vehicle. Tamta developed this innovative vehicle with the aim of making personal air travel easier and more practical in India in the future.
The Uttarakhand man conducted the flight on open ground in Almora. This aircraft is developed by Hapida Sky Private Limited. The vehicle uses modified and upgraded drone technology and is designed to carry one person.

Why Was This Flying Vehicle Developed?
News18 reported that Ravi Tamta came up with this unique vehicle after looking at the challenges of travelling in the hills. A 40-km road trip from his village to his home takes around 90 minutes. But with his flying vehicle, Ravi Tamta believes the same journey could take just 10 minutes.
The successful test flight was a big moment for Ravi Tamta. After years of research, experiments and hard work, he finally saw his flying vehicle take off. He called the achievement one of the biggest moments of his career. However, HAPIDA SKYNeX is still in the prototype stage and is not ready for commercial use yet. Tamta will need more testing and development before his flying vehicle can become a part of everyday travel.
