The dirty martini is having a moment, and Stranger & Sons is taking the obsession beyond the glass. The Goa-born Indian gin brand has partnered up with premium snack maker Kettle Studio to create Dirty Martini Chips, a snack designed especially to sit alongside the cocktail. What Are Dirty Martini Chips?
The collaboration began as an April Fools’ Day prank but quickly turned into something real after the response from cocktail enthusiasts proved that the idea had an audience. The Dirty Martini Chips are potato chips infused with salt, brine and dill. Rather than trying to copy the taste of a martini or add gin to the snack, the idea is to build a chip that complements the cocktail. The chips contain no gin but are designed to pair naturally with a Dirty Martini, much like olives, pickles or other usual bar snacks.
On April 1, 2026, Stranger & Sons shared an April Fools’ post revealing what appeared to be the launch of gin-flavoured chips. Instead of being viewed as a joke, the post prompted genuine reactions from people who were disappointed to discover that the chips were not actually available.
The unexpected response made the brand realise there was genuine interest in a premium snack designed around cocktail culture. Around 100 days later, the idea became a real product through its collaboration with Kettle Studio.
Rahul Mehra, CEO and Co-Founder of Third Eye Distillery, said the brand has always aimed to create experiences and products that become part of culture rather than simply existing as a bottled spirit. He described the chips as a natural extension of Stranger & Sons’ long-standing association with Martini culture.
Why & Where To Find Them?
Stranger & Sons has spent years building experiences around Martini and Gibson culture, encouraging consumers to experiment with garnishes, brines and pickled ingredients while treating the Martini as a ritual rather than simply another cocktail. The new chips fit into that same world. They are intended to complement the drinking experience without attempting to replicate the cocktail itself.

The brand has also launched @dirtymartinicollective, a community platform focused on the ongoing Dirty Martini conversation, including cocktail opinions, bar culture, and different takes on the drink. Dirty Martini Chips are currently available at select premium retail outlets and liquor stores with the purchase of a Stranger & Sons bottle across Mumbai, Goa and Karnataka. They are also expected to become available on quick-commerce platforms soon.
