The Library houses a collection of over 4,500 books from publishers across the world, covering everything from fiction and children’s literature to art, design, history, culture, food and travel. Whether you enjoy getting lost in a novel or picking up a coffee-table book, there is plenty to explore.

One of its highlights is the complete Amar Chitra Katha collection, bringing together stories from Indian mythology, history, literature and folklore at the Chariot of Wisdom installation.

The space will also host storytelling sessions, author conversations, spoken-word performances and workshops. There will be dedicated activities around children’s books and family experiences, making it a destination for readers across generations.

Interiors That Make You Want To Stay Longer

Designed by architect and designer Ashiesh Shah, The Library draws inspiration from traditional university libraries but comes with its own distinctive character.

Spread across two levels, the interiors feature sculptural books, tabletops with carved open-book details and intimate alcoves that offer cosy corners to sit and read. A circular coffee bar adds to the charm, while a dedicated stage makes room for literary gatherings and performances.

And if you thought books were the only reason to visit, there is more. The Library also brings an all-day dining experience, with its food philosophy co-created by the NMACC team and restaurateur Aditi Dugar.

The menu features everything from freshly baked breads, viennoiserie and leisurely brunch options to small plates, handcrafted chocolates and matcha. Visitors can also enjoy signature coffee blends and craft cocktails, making it a space where you can comfortably spend a few hours.

So, whether you want to pick up your next favourite read, catch an interesting literary conversation or simply enjoy coffee in a beautifully designed setting, The Library has plenty to offer!
