December 2025 didn’t just add new pins to Bengaluru’s dining map; it changed the texture of it. This month saw restaurants opening fully and, of course, full flavour. From a MasterChef India winner opening his first restaurant in North Bengaluru to Church Street becoming a stage for Asian street culture and diverse dining, here are 11 new restaurants that feel like a major FOMO in disguise (if you decide to delay your visit)!
11 New Restaurants In Bengaluru You Shouldn’t Miss!
1. Masara
View this post on Instagram
This is the restaurant debut of MasterChef India Season 8 winner Mohammed Ashiq, but it doesn’t lean on the badge. Opened on 28 December 2025 in North Bengaluru, Masara is rooted in Indian flavours that feel lived with. Ashiq’s cooking here respects masalas and regional memory, while refining them through technique and balance. The setting feels intimate and stylised, but not pretentious. Comfy chairs coupled with bright and comforting orange roofs and walls provide it an upbeat vibe. From classic favourites like Prawns Koliwada, Mutton Rogan Josh to a quirky palate of Devil Eggs, this place is as comforting as happening.

2. CHA Hong Kong Eating House
Bellona Hospitality’s standalone debut on Church Street brings the noise, colour, and pace of Hong Kong’s eating houses straight into Bengaluru’s most walked neighbourhood. Conceptualised by Prashant Issar and driven by Chef Sagar Sarkar, CHA moves away from mall comfort into street-side energy. The menu reads like a personality test. Dimsums aren’t just steamed; they satisfy hearts and tongues alike. Baos arrive messy in the best way. Cheung Fun swings between soft and crispy moods. Bowls borrow unapologetically from Cantonese, Sichuan, Shanghai, and Mongolian traditions without trying to “Indianise” themselves. Inside, the space is kinetic with open kitchens, dimsum trolleys cutting through conversations, red accents everywhere, and a bar that encourages interaction rather than formality.
Where: 1 Sobha, Church Street, Bengaluru, Karnataka
When: 12 pm to 12 am
Cost: ₹1,400 for two approx.
3. Ishaara
The Church Street outpost marks Ishaara’s Bengaluru expansion, and its philosophy is felt before it’s explained. Operated by a team of hearing and speech-impaired service professionals, the restaurant functions on gestures, eye contact, and intention. Communication here is slower, and that’s the point. Designed by Minnie Bhatt Design, the space is raw yet soft with concrete balanced by wood, brass, faux leather, and flowing greens. The verandah transitions effortlessly from daylight dining to evening conversations. Ishaara reminds you that hospitality doesn’t need volume to make an impact.
Where: Church Street, Bengaluru, Karnataka
When: 12:00 pm to 11 pm
Cost: ₹1,600 for two approx.

4. PHURR

PHURR has never believed in understatement. After running at near-constant capacity in Jayanagar, the brand’s Indiranagar opening jumps fully into what it does best: bold ambience, drool-worthy vegetarian food, and a sense of celebration that doesn’t apologise for itself. The space is maximalist, warm, and not-so-ordinary, the kind where you keep noticing new corners even after sitting down. The food stays playful with Tender Coconut Fritters, Andhra Chilli Broccoli with Pesto Hummus, Vegetable Kofta with Banarasi Pukhtan Curry, and Bhindi 2 Way remain anchors, while Finger Millet Nihari brings an indulgent depth and surprise. The mocktail-only bar continues to be PHURR’s quiet flex. Drinks like Humming Berry and Penguin Potion aren’t trying to replace alcohol; they’re trying to outshine it.
Where: 614-615, 12th Main Rd, 7th Cross, HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560008
When: 12 pm to 11:30 pm

5. Shradha Lulla – Gourmet Desserts

Shradha Lulla – Gourmet Desserts enters Bengaluru quietly and stickily, and then stays with you. Launched at Nexus Mall, Koramangala, the brand builds its identity around European café culture. Ice cream cakes, artisanal desserts, and signature sweets sit alongside a rich hot chocolate priced at ₹99, a deliberate statement about accessible luxury. The space is elegant, and the desserts are plated with care. It’s the kind of place you go for just a little “something sweet” and end up hogging their entire menu.
Where: Nexus Mall, Koramangala, Bengaluru, Karnataka
When: 11 am to 11 pm
Cost: ₹600 for two approx.
6. SUKA

SUKA hosts seating for over 2,000 people! At this point, SUKA is less a brewery and more a landscape. Located in Nagarbhavi, the Zanzibar-inspired space brings nature into your dining space with palms, water bodies, gazebos, tree-like columns, and a dramatic indoor waterfall that anchors the experience. Despite its scale, SUKA doesn’t feel overwhelming. The food focuses on global comfort, grills, and tropical flavours, while the bar delivers fresh craft beers and botanical cocktails that match the setting rather than compete with it.

7. Watson’s Cantina
Watson’s Cantina opened in Vasanth Nagar and immediately felt different from the neighbourhood’s quieter dining rooms. Built by Shilton Hospitality, the space is unapologetically Latin—it’s colour-forward, music-first, and anchored by a bar that functions as the room’s pulse. The menu favours bold and passionate plates like Guacamole con Totopos, Charred Corn Esquites, Taquitos de Chorizo, Baja-style Fish Tacos, and a special Arne Assado that rewards patience. Upstairs, Del Sabor operates as a working studio for chef residencies and pop-ups, keeping experimentation baked into the concept. Cocktails such as Dorado Dulce and Rojo Rebelde carry real character. Ready to try yet?

8. Rbar

The redesigned Rbar at Renaissance Bengaluru Race Course Hotel moves with restraint, choosing texture and reference over spectacle. Rbar extends its exclusive, elegant language through a dome inspired by polo helmets, flowing naturally between booths, lounge seating, and alfresco pockets. The menu signals a shift toward comfort with a side of fancy, with dishes like Crab Brûlée, Confit Chicken, Lamb Pie, and composed grazing boards. Cocktails are thoughtfully built, from a strawberry-coconut Renaissance Negroni to a Jasmine Gin Fizz and Great Gatsby.

9. Sector 144
Sector 144’s second Bengaluru address rises above JP Nagar as a rooftop space built around mood rather than momentary buzz. Located on the 4th floor, the venue evolves through the day as easy, sunlit lunches give way to high-energy evenings as the retractable skylight deck opens to the skyline. Design feels warm and grounded, with earthy hues, Aztec-inspired details, and intimate seating pockets that soften the scale. The 120+ dish menu spans Indian, Karavalli coastal, Chinese, and Continental cuisines, prioritising familiarity and breadth. Drinks are playful, with cocktails and mocktails named after birds, trains, currencies, and cult references! Pick your favourite, and feel the buzz in your hearts too.

10. PAUL
PAUL’s Bengaluru debut at Orion Mall brings 137 years of French bakery heritage into a setting designed for unhurried living. Positioned along the lakeside promenade, the café channels Parisian street culture, which is refined, open, and meant for lingering. The menu stays loyal to French classics like croque monsieur, quiche Lorraine, crêpes, canelés, and an extensive selection of artisan breads and viennoiseries. European comfort expands into pizzas, tartines, pastas, risottos, salads, and gourmet sandwiches. This is not your typical trend-chasing café culture; it’s a time-tested routine, done properly.
Where: Orion Mall, Rajajinagar, Bengaluru, Karnataka 560010
When: 9 am to 11:30 pm
Cost: ₹1800 for two approx.
11. Tropika

Tropika opens in Marathahalli as one of Bengaluru’s largest dining destinations, spreading across an acre with seating for over 1,500 guests! Designed by WDA Architecture, the space borrows its calm from Bali with dense greenery, earthy textures, open layouts, and warm lighting that immediately slows the pace. The menu stretches across 200+ global dishes with specially curated vegan and Jain options. At its core sits an in-house brewery guided by the philosophy that good beer takes time, offering Belgian Wit, Chocolate Stout, Coconut Cream Ale, and Strawberry Cider.
Where: 37/1, Outer Ring Road, Panathur, Marathahalli, Bengaluru, Karnataka
When: 12 pm to 1 am
