Karnataka has now taken a decision to ban tourist vehicles at Hosahalli Betta and Kaginhare after a large number of tourists were found off-roading in the areas to make reels, causing harm to nature and scaring away local wildlife. Karnataka Bans Tourist Vehicles At Hosahalli Betta & Kaginhare
Hosahalli Betta in Karnataka is a scenic mountain peak and a popular photo point in Sakleshpur, known for its panoramic views of the Western Ghats and mist-covered green hills. Kaginhare, on the other hand, is a viewpoint known for its deep valley and historic rustic charm. Both places attract many tourists who come to enjoy nature and go off-roading on the green hillocks of Sakleshpur.
According to Deccan Herald, the Forest Department has now completely banned tourist vehicles at Hosahalli Betta, Kagihare and other places near Hethuru in Sakleshpur taluk, Hassan district. Reportedly, due to the monsoon and lush greenery, many people were illegally entering the forest area and disturbing wildlife through rash driving.

Tourists Can Park Their Vehicles Below The Hill
According to Deccan Herald, authorities have also restricted private vehicles at some tourist spots to prevent damage to nature and grasslands. Moreover, pollution from vehicles and noise were also affecting the animals and birds in the area. Some tourists were also leaving behind used food packets and plastic bottles, polluting the area.
But the ban does not mean tourists cannot visit these popular spots during the monsoon. They can park their vehicles below the hill and walk up to enjoy nature. However, they should keep their surroundings clean, avoid littering the place, and not disturb the animals.
