Prayagraj Airport Launches Flybrary For Readers
Reading during flights is one of the best ways to pass the time. It can also significantly help reduce anxiety and stress. Not just that, but having a reading habit is considered amazing in general too. And the Airports Authority of India (AAI) would agree with us. According to The Times of India, AAI has now introduced a ‘Flybrary’ at Prayagraj Airport, Uttar Pradesh.
The new initiative allows flyers to borrow books free of cost and read them during their flights. Passengers can also carry these books to their destination, with a provision to return them at the Flybrary of the airport they reach. Honestly, having books to read will help the time pass faster and also make your journeys more enriching.

Initiative Aims To Encourage Reading During Flights
According to The Times of India, the Flybrary at Prayagraj Airport has been introduced to encourage reading among travellers and promote the exchange and circulation of books between airports. Prayagraj Airport Director Ganesh Yadav also shared with TOI that the initiative’s main objective is to make air travel more informative and enjoyable. He also appealed to the residents of the city to donate good-quality and useful books to expand the collection.
Currently, the Flybrary has books related to yoga and religion. Officials expect that more people will come forward to donate books from different genres, allowing passengers with different interests to benefit from the facility. However, within days of its launch, five passengers borrowed books from the Flybrary but did not return them. Airport authorities are hoping that passengers take responsibility and return the books after completing their journey.
