What Does FIFA Have To Say?

The shockingly high prices of stadium food and beverages have sparked concern among fans, who already have paid high prices to secure tickets to the FIFA World Cup matches. The steep costs have also triggered a debate online, with supporters questioning whether attending football matches in person is becoming increasingly unaffordable for the average fan.

Responding to the concerns, FIFA said that food and beverage prices at World Cup venues are set by the concession operators managing each stadium. The governing body clarified that prices are generally aligned with those charged during regular events at the respective venues and may differ from one host city to another.
