Gujarat Government Plans Yatri Niwas In Ayodhya
The Gujarat Government is planning a modern Yatri Niwas in Ayodhya. The project is being handled by the Gujarat Tourism Corporation. Along with stay options, the new facility will offer several amenities for visitors. The project has an estimated cost of ₹80.25 crore. The Yatri Niwas will cover 6,929.28 square metres of land in a township that is currently being developed in Ayodhya.
As per a DeshGujarat report, the new Yatri Niwas will have 308 beds along with a large hall that can seat 864 people. The hall can be used for group gatherings, activities and events. Visitors can also expect facilities like a reception centre, visitor lounge, souvenir shop, multipurpose hall, auditorium, meeting room and dining area. The plan also include a terrace garden, digital display systems and landscaped open spaces.

When Will This New Stay Place Open?
The work on the Yatri Niwas in Ayodhya has already started. As per DeshGujarat, pilgrims from Gujarat can expect the new stay facility to open in the coming year. So, if you’re planning a visit to Ayodhya, you can soon expect accommodation with homely feeling and several facilities.
The project also aims to strengthen the connection between Gujarat and Ayodhya. With accommodation and other facilities, the Yatri Niwas is expected to become a go-to stay option for pilgrims from Gujarat.
