According to News18, the surge in temperature across northern, central, and eastern India is due to an atmospheric phenomenon rather than isolated regional heatwaves. Reasons like intense solar heating, reduced snow cover across Eurasia and the Himalayas, changing ocean patterns, and dry northwesterly winds can be behind this extreme heat. To stay comfortable, keep yourself hydrated, eat a balanced diet, avoid heavy food items, and do not step out unnecessarily in the heat.
