A content creator, Hanumant Naik (@captain_goa), shared a video where he asked a Goa hotel staff member which Indian city’s tourists they prefer, especially as foreign tourists are now fewer. During the conversation, he mentioned cities like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru.
Responding to this, the staff member said they don’t prefer guests from Delhi, as some can be disrespectful in the way they speak. To explain her point, she mimicked a common interaction, saying some guests call out rudely like, “Oh hello… waiter, chai laao.” In the video, she then shared her experience with tourists from other Indian cities. According to her, guests from Mumbai are more respectful, while visitors from Bengaluru are polite and easy to deal with.

A mehndi artist also shared her experience, saying, “South Indian people are usually gentle and polite. Also Maharashtrians compared to North Indians. I take mehndi orders for destination weddings, and I’m speaking from my experience.”
