India’s bar scene is getting bigger, and the latest 30 Best Bars India list is proof. The 2026 edition has unveiled its Top 100 contenders, with 108 bars across 17 cities and Goa making the cut this year, following tied scores. What makes this edition interesting is just how much the bar scene has expanded beyond the usual names. Indore, Mangalore and Trivandrum have made their debut on the list, while a total of 42 bars are first-time entrants, making this one of the most competitive editions yet.

Best Bars In India: Goa Takes The Lead

One of the biggest takeaways from this year’s list is Goa’s growing presence. The coastal state has overtaken Mumbai with 20 bars, making it the market with the highest number of bars on the 2026 list.

Meanwhile, Hyderabad has also seen a notable jump, with the city now featuring five bars. The list also puts a spotlight on India’s evolving drinking culture, with eight non-metro markets now represented.

Top 100 Ranking Is Yet To Be Revealed

While the 108-bar list gives us a glimpse of who is in the running, the final rankings are still under wraps. Voting is currently underway among the 300+ member jury, who will determine the final Top 100 ranking.

And if you’re already curious to know which bars will make it to the top, you won’t have to wait too long. The Top 50 list is set to be revealed in the coming weeks, giving us a closer look at the bars currently shaping India’s cocktail and drinking scene.
