Nauheed Cyrusi is a foodie, and there is no doubt about that. She keeps coming up with fun recipes, and surprisingly, they are super simple to follow as well. Recently, she tried the viral trend of making mango mochi using rice paper, and we can’t wait to tell you all about it. She took to her Instagram to share the whole process and even wrote, “This is not my recipe, but it’s fun and finally a recipe your kids will enjoy.”
Here are the ingredients you need to make mango mochi at home:
- Rice paper-1 sheet for each mochi
- Some yoghurt- 1 tbsp for each mochi
- Water
- Lots of chopped fresh and juicy mangoes
Method to make mango mochi:
- Soak the rice paper in drinking water for 10 seconds and then take it out.
- Place the soaked rice paper on a plate and add chopped mango pieces in the centre.
- Pour 1 tbsp of yoghurt (dahi) and fold the rice paper tightly into a small packet.
- Freeze it for 30 minutes, and it’s done.
The taste might feel slightly sour due to the dahi, but if you want to make it sweet, you can add honey, maple syrup, or even sugar to your yoghurt. You can even use coconut cream in place of dahi if you want to make this mochi dessert taste more fancy.
