Uttarakhand Gets 3-B Garden In Dehradun
As per the reports, the CM inaugurated the 3-B Garden located inside the Circuit House. The inauguration was held on Thursday, where he planted a Krishna Vat sapling. The garden is being constructed with the aim of preserving and promoting bees, butterflies and birds. A wide range of plants that promote pollination and biodiversity are being planted widely in the garden. Whereas the usage of pesticides and harmful chemicals in the garden will remain strictly forbidden to protect the natural ecosystem.
The officials told the portal that the development of this special garden will not only support agricultural practices but also contribute greatly to biodiversity conservation and enhancement. They further added that the garden will also play an important role in improving public awareness about environmental preservation and sensitivity towards ecosystems.

The Garden Features A Diverse Mix Of Species
The garden is witnessing an ideal blend of the plantation of varieties such as jamun, mulberry, drumstick, kadamb, camphor, hibiscus, guava, neem, bamboo, bottlebrush, tikoma, zinnia, cosmos, pentas, milkweed, passionflower, hamelia, ixora, lantana, tulsi, lavender, sunflower, rosemary and mint. In addition, new seedlings are being planted near old and dying trees within the complex. Not only this, but the species native to high Himalayan and mountainous regions, such as oak, rhododendron, bay leaf and peya, have also been planted here, which are growing healthy and enhancing the natural beauty and uniqueness of the premises.

During the inauguration, the CM of Uttarakhand recognised the ongoing environmental and biodiversity promotion activities in the compound and directed the horticulture department to draft a detailed plan for enhancing the beekeeping activities within the residence complex and nearby areas.
