To further boost tourism, the state has now added another landmark attraction near the site. A 600-passenger capacity cruise has now been launched on the Narmada River. According to Mid-Day, commercial operations are expected to start after receiving all statutory approvals.
The Statue of Unity Area Development and Tourism Governance Authority already operates a 200-passenger cruise. It offers amazing views of the towering statue, the scenic Narmada River and the surrounding natural landscape. This cruise has been a hit among tourists, which is why a larger cruise has been introduced to cater to the growing number of visitors and increasing demand.
