Ranveena Tandon In Ooty After Decades

Popular actress Raveena Tandon recently shared glimpses of her trip to Ooty, Tamil Nadu, on Instagram. She returned to this famous hill station after 25 years, feeling nostalgic as she remembered shooting songs for her films. Along with her recent photos, she treated fans to a sneak peek of her 1994 movie Dilwale with Ajay Devgn and the 1992 film Jeena Marna Tere Sang with Sanjay Dutt—both of which she had originally shot at the very same spots she visited on this trip.

While sharing the photos, the actress wrote, “Back to Ooty (Udhgamandalam) after 25 years or more and totally loving it! Revisited all the locations, Memories, Songs, People…” The photos were full of lush greenery and open spaces, making it the perfect spot to soak in the peaceful vibes.

Places To Visit In Ooty

Ooty has plenty of activities and places to explore, ensuring that travellers don’t get bored. Here, you can hop on the Toy Train from Mettupalayam for breathtaking views of the Nilgiris, or explore trekking trails through lush forests and hills. Love water fun? Go boating at the TTDC Boat House. For a true nature escape, camping near waterfalls and scenic valleys is perfect. 

If you’re planning to visit this famous hill station, then here’s the good news. Ooty is easily accessible by road, rail, and air. The central bus stand connects it to cities like Coimbatore, Bengaluru, Chennai, Madurai, Trichy, Mysore, and Kanyakumari. Coimbatore International Airport is about 88–104 km away. Ooty is also connected to Mettupalayam by the Nilgiri Mountain Railway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. If you’re coming by train from other places, the nearest major station is in Coimbatore, about 87 km away.
