Indian Minister, Nitin Gadkari Test Rides Sky Bus In Sharjah On His Way Back From Prague

Indian Union Minister Nitin Gadkari made a stop in Sharjah, UAE, on his way back to India from his official trip to Prague. During his visit, he had the opportunity to test the Sky Bus at uSky Technology’s pilot certification and experience centre.

uSky Technology has developed the Sky Bus, and iSky Mobility has partnered with them to introduce these mobility services in India. The Sky Bus offers an eco-friendly urban mobility solution that reduces congestion and pollution, providing efficient transportation for city dwellers. Its elevated rail cable system minimizes land use, making it a valuable addition to India’s transportation infrastructure.

During his visit, Nitin Gadkari experienced a safety and evacuation demonstration presented by uSky Technology. According to uSky, their vehicles travel above the ground on a specially designed elevated track, ensuring optimal aerodynamics, increased speed, enhanced safety, efficient land and resource utilization, and reduced environmental impact from transportation.

Before his stop in Sharjah, Nitin Gadkari had an official visit to the Czech Republic, where he participated in the ministerial session on Road Safety at the 27th World Road Congress held in Prague. He engaged with various international organizations, academia, industry experts, and stakeholders in the field.

During his time in Prague, Nitin Gadkari also had the opportunity to test drive a hydrogen-powered bus manufactured by Skoda. Hydrogen buses show great potential in reducing carbon emissions and addressing environmental concerns, contributing to a cleaner and more environmentally friendly future.

Gadkari’s stopover in Sharjah and his test ride of the Sky Bus highlight his commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. His experiences in both Sharjah and Prague underscore his dedication to exploring innovative transportation technologies that can play a crucial role in building a more sustainable future.
