According to the most recent development, Vietnam is prepared to prolong the validity of e-visas after its government approved the extension of visa reform measures.

According to reports, on the government’s advice, Vietnam’s parliamentarians approved extending the validity of electronic visas for incoming tourists on June 24 in the National Assembly. As a result, instead of the current 30-day validity period, the granted e-visa will now be valid for 90 days as of August 1.

In order to increase tourism here, the idea calls for allowing visitors to enter the country on several occasions rather than just one. This means the country will also allow multiple entries. This action is expected to be extremely beneficial for Indian visitors, who frequently travel to this location.

At the moment, electronic tourist visas for Indian visitors to Vietnam are only valid for 30 days and permit only one entry. However, according to the newly implemented plan, tourists will now be able to stay longer.

As a result, the visa reforms have made it possible for visitors to visit Vietnam for longer periods of time and to travel to different parts of the nation. The cost of a tourist visa is USD 25, and the current processing period is 3–4 days.

People from 25 nations can visit Vietnam without a visa at this time, and 80 countries and territories already issue e-visas to their citizens. Visitors are permitted to stay in Vietnam for an average of 14 to 30 days.

International visitors to Vietnam, which has become an increasingly popular tourism destination in recent years, would feel much relieved by this action. (As per The Times Of India)
