India’s First Ever Hotel Art Fair Is Coming To Taj Palace In Delhi To Celebrate Country’s Rich Culture

These days, Hotel art fairs are picking up. You must have read, seen, or witnessed some of them in different countries other than India. Well, for those who have not or wish to, here’s good news for you! The opulent enclave of the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in New Delhi will soon host India’s first ever hotel art fair, ARTIX. So get ready to embrace India’s rich culture under one roof!

ARTIX: the goal of this celebration, is to showcase the diverse array of Indian art and culture within a single, magnificent arcade.

This brand-new hotel art display is called Artix. The well-known houses of Jahan Luxury and Arushi Arts will work to curate this. The first edition will take place at the Taj Palace in New Delhi from August 25 to 27 of 2023. With a portion of the sales going to charity, the art expo will highlight the textiles, tribal arts, and craftspeople that are popular in India.

Even the Taj Palace Hotel’s rooms and floors will be transformed into exclusive art preview spaces. The event is being organized by Payal Kapoor, Malvika Poddar, and Timsy Anand and is a groundbreaking and traditional pan-India hotel art fair.

An Interactive Art Space

Through partnerships between hotels, artists, and regional arts organizations, this collaborative strategy creates a vibrant and integrated art community.

The inaugural season of the organization, is sponsored by the inspirational trio of Malvika Poddar, Timsy Anand, and Payal Kapur. It aims to bring together artists and collectors while cultivating a new generation of art fans.

Every room on the hotel level will change into an art salon and gallery, showcasing a captivating combination of Indian masters, traditional and modern art, sculptures, tapestries, and objets d’arts. The entire hotel floor is set to be transformed into an interactive art space.
