Hempseed is actually the only plant-based food that is a complete source of protein. It contains all 9 amino acids that the body doesn’t produce. At Hemp Station in Calicut, hempseed milk is used as an alternative to cow’s milk. Hemp milk has a nutty, earthy flavour. It’s low in calories and high in protein. It’s also free of gluten and lactose. At Hemp Station, founders Chef Midhun and Dr Subashish prepare delicious milkshakes with hemp milk.
