IndiGo Offers 10% Discount On Flight Tickets; Here’s How To Avail It

Fully vaccinated? You can now avail discounted flight tickets from IndiGo. Yes, you read that right! The budget carrier has launched ‘Vaxi Fare’ for fully vaccinated passengers. However, passengers must carry their COVID-19 vaccination certificate or show their vaccination status on the Aarogya Setu mobile app at the counter. A separate charge will be applicable if you fail to provide the vaccination proof during check-in. The offer is valid for passengers booking on the IndiGo website.

Travel has been a slippery slope during the pandemic with hundreds of flights being grounded in the early phase of the lockdown. Travellers booked their flight tickets for the year 2022 failing to see the third wave coming. Due to a significant rise in Covid-19 and Omicron cases, IndiGo has cancelled 20 per cent of its flights. The budget airlines will waive off change fees and offer free changes on both existing and new bookings made up to January 31 for flights up to March 31. Wherever possible, cancellation of flights will take place at least 72 hours in advance.
