Chef Vikas Khanna, one of the judges, shared a video on Instagram and shared glimpses of the Navratri celebration. Along with Chef Ranveer Brar and Chef Pooja Dhingra, he visited a garba dance event and grooved to the beats of Falguni Pathak, a famous Indian singer who specialises in Gujarati folk songs. In fact, the judges interacted with the crowd and clicked selfies too! Other than this, the trio met Divya Khosla Kumar and joined her in Navratri celebrations.

Finally, he had the pleasure of enjoying a delicious feast at Grand Hyatt Mumbai! Before relishing the treat, he stepped into the kitchen and saw the preparation of the Navratri thali with Reena Samby, chef at Soma, Grand Hyatt Mumbai. The thali included upvas or vrat delicacies like sabudana vada, rajgira puri and other mouth-watering dishes.

The hotel had introduced this thali to celebrate the spirit of Navratri and to provide a vrat-friendly meal option to their customers. Soma is stretched out across three stories and has a design that is wholly lunar in inspiration. The restaurant beckons discerning palates to set off on a journey of flavour and refinement as a gourmet pearl.
