Instagram has launched a new Ramadan effect and its super cool! The golden-yellow lighting with ‘Happy Ramadan’ inscribed on it, is perfect for clicking festive pictures.

Instagram is celebrating Ramadan and they’re doing it in a super cool way! ‘Lantern’ is the Ramadan-special camera effect launched on Instagram. The golden-yellow effect has pretty watermarks that depict the festive season, along with the wording ‘Happy Ramadan’ inscribed on it.
That’s not all! The effect is available in English and Arabic versions, which switches in just a tap. The new effect coincides with Instagram’s first ever Ramadan campaign- #MonthOfGood, a global initiative to celebrate and share kindness.

Meanwhile, Whatsapp has launched a new feature, which gives you more privacy to pick and choose the groups you want to be part of.
Whatsapp has introduced a new privacy setting feature. Get into one of your Whatsapp groups and check under the privacy menu. Three new options- Nobody’, ‘My Contacts’ or ‘Everyone’ will appear.
The‘Nobody’ option requires you to approve every group before you join, while ‘My Contacts’ means only the contacts on your address book can add you to a group. The ‘Everyone’ option allows users to be added to any group.
