Two Main Doors Of Puri’s Jagannath Temple Get Plated With Silver After The Shrine Reopens

The Sun Temple in Konark, Odisha has reopened for visitors following the COVID-19 guidelines issued by the Odisha Special Relief Commissioner (SRC). At the temple, visitors need to undergo thermal screening at the entry points. Also, not more than 2000 persons will be allowed in the heritage site per day. To facilitate online booking, QR codes have also been installed at the site. Manual booking is prohibited now to reduce physical contact. Meanwhile, after the shrine reopened to visitors, it silver-plated two of its main doors. Earlier, the Jagannath temple replaced eight of its doors with new ones.

Packages To Puri Start From ₹6,165

The three nights and four days travel package for Puri starts at ₹6,165, ₹12,600 for Konark, ₹19,945 for Gopalpur. The travel packages include disinfected rooms, all three meals, tea or coffee, secured parking space, complimentary Wi-Fi, and travel insurance. The hotels are also working on top-notch COVID-19 related safety protocols and a high hygiene standard.
