He is Hrithik’s trainer and now he shared a video on Instagram where he talks about the popular Indian food, rajma rice. Should You Eat This Indian Dish Regularly?

Kris Gethin went to an Indian restaurant where he ate a huge portion of rajma with a big bowl of steamed rice. Meanwhile, he had his Nutrisense blood glucose monitor attached to his right arm to track his blood glucose levels while and after eating rajma chawal. Kris made his video to share the details of whether this dish gives a spike in blood sugar perspective.

He displayed the results on the screen where it can be easily seen that Kris experienced a high level of sugar hit after eating a big portion of rajma and rice. These not only contain protein but are also rich in carbohydrates so this is one reason for the blood sugar hike. He is an active individual, weighs 230 pounds, and also is insulin sensitive but still saw the spike in his blood glucose monitor.

Kris ended the video by stating that if someone is eating rajma rice, they need to be cautious about the portion.
