One of Bangalore’s most popular and iconic temples, Isckon, will once again reopen its doors to devotees on October 5. Iskcon closed its doors in March due to the coronavirus induced lockdown.  Now that temples all across the city are once again welcoming devotees, Iskcon has once again reopened. Iskcon Temple In Bangalore Reopens After 7 Months; Maintains Strict Safety Protocols

The temple gates of Isckon in Bangalore reopened on October 5. The shrine shall welcome devotees on weekdays from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. And then again from 4 pm to 8 pm. On weekends the temple will remain open from 9:30 am to 8 pm. Iskcon opens its doors after 7 long months. It’s one of the most beautiful temples in Bangalore.

Now that it reopens, Iskcon will follow a strict protocol. Devotees must wear masks while entering the temple. Children below the ga of 10 years, people above 65 years and pregnant women are advised not to visit the temple. Bhajans and Bhagavad Gita recital will also resume here.

Iskcon Temples In Other Parts Of India Reopened Earlier

Iskcon temples in the other parts of India already reopened as part of the earlier Unlock guidelines. But the temple management in Bangalore didn’t deem it fit to reopen earlier. The temple makes several arrangements to ensure better safety of the devotees. The temple expects to welcome a large number of devotees in the first week of its reopening.
